Types of Floor Wastes

When designing a bathroom or tiled area one of the decisions you have to make is what type of floor waste will you have.

The most common shapes are a square, circle or rectangular grate.

These can then be a stainless steel design or what you call a tile insert or a smart waste, where a tile is cut and inserted in the waste to blend in with the floor tiles. These are very nice aesthetically however don’t allow as much water to escape as your stainless grated or standard insert wastes.
